The Undertaker and Halloween 2

Yup! That's me! I was an extra in the Phantom Jam scene in Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. We shot for the good part of two days straight and other than the pay stub and this photo, there's very little prof that I was even there. Still, an amazing experience. I'd love to do it again...as a zombie...for The Walking Dead...being filmed in Atlanta...where I live! (anybody listening?) ;)

Well even if the movie sucked (at least, that's what I've heard) that's completely awesome that they hired you! Tell me, did you get to meet Mr. Zombie?

How cool! When was this?

HalloweeNut,

I didn't get to have beer with him or anything but he was down with us in the trenches for the good part of two days, moving us around, giving us direction. Awesome guy, great sense of humor but a focused sense of purpose when he's working. You can almost see the wheels turning in his head through his eyes. It was an amazing (yet painful and exhausting) experience.

Hey Jen,

It was in March of 2009. I received an email from the Spookshow mailing list (I think) that said they needed 300 costumed extras to film a scene for H2. We were asked to reply with some information. If we were chosen, we were told to meet at the Starlight Drive-in and were bussed (3 buses) to the Newborn Fertilizer Company in Newborn, GA. for our grueling ordeal.

Hey Captain,

It was cool to see how things are filmed. Of course they shot out of sequence. In the afternoon we filmed the actual Phantom Jam party scene (indoors). That evening we filmed the "arriving at the party" scene because it was dark. We shot for 2 days straight for which ended up being about 5 minutes of time in the actual movie.

ahh that's right!!! I had some friends down there doing it. I was approached in lil 5pts by some lady who asked me but all the good stuff happens on weekdays. No good for this 9-5 girl. I've got the Walking Dead series sitting at the house, have a few friends in that one. Are they filming it again here?

Hey Jen,

I took two days off of work and went to work as a total zombie on day 3.

I did receive a "call for zombies" when The Walking Dead filmed Season 1 but I was camping at the time and couldn't respond till much too late. I've sent them frequent emails since then but recently received:

"We thank you for your interest in 'The Walking Dead'. We are no longer taking submissions for Season 1 and ARE NOT taking submissions for Season 2 just yet...indefinitely as of now."

I'll email to you the same contact information I have so you can keep abreast of the situation.

Got your email, ty! I was in Ace Ventura Pet Detective as a young adult. I skipped work. Got paid $45 and free food. Filmed inside a club called the Cameo in Miami. We used to see old punk rock shows there. So basically you were in a room with all your friends (punkrock kids and skinheads) for a whole 2 days. It got so borring we had a huge food fight. Then the movie came out and you can see basically like 3 people you knew. LOL

Hey Doc,

Great to hear from you! I hear that some of The Phantom Jammers are getting together at The Atlanta Days of the Dead costume party on March 9! Maybe I'll see you there!
